We started this because St. Louis deserved a technician-first HVAC company.
Lindbergh Industrial Heating & Cooling didn't start as a business plan. It started in 2009, when our founder spent a July weekend replacing a rooftop condenser at a plastics plant in Florissant that three other contractors had walked away from. The plant manager asked one question: "Why couldn't the other guys just tell me what was wrong?"
That was the whole idea. Most HVAC companies are built to sell equipment. We built Lindbergh to answer the phone, tell you exactly what's wrong, show you the numbers, and fix it — whether that fix is a $40 contactor or a $40,000 chiller. We've grown entirely on referrals from facility managers, restaurant owners, and warehouse supervisors who got tired of being sold to when they just wanted their building comfortable.
Fifteen years later we run rooftop units, chillers, furnaces, boilers, make-up air systems, and building automation controls across the St. Louis metro — from a shop on 9235 Riverview Dr to your roof. We are licensed, insured, EPA 608 Universal certified, and stubborn about doing the job right the first time. We'd rather lose a sale than install a system we can't stand behind.
